Raffael Tschui
Partner, Electronics Engineer
Raffael's enthusiasm for electronics since childhood led him to complete a Masters degree in Micro- and Nanoelectronics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, EPFL, and a Master's thesis on ultrasonic transducers at Stanford University. He has also visited the renowned Hasso Plattner Institute of Design D-School while at Stanford.
Prior to co-founding Octanis Instruments, he designed analog on-chip components for novel RFID products at Swatch Group's EM Microelectronics. Raffael was an engineering coach for EPFL's China Hardware Innovation Camp, where he visited China many times and learned a lot about making hardware in Shenzhen. He applies this knowledge to projects every day. Raffael designs, assembles, and tests PCBs or writes code for our customer's embedded hardware.
