Antigen Test Sensor
Making difficult to read antibody tests accessible. An electronic readout system for lateral flow assays without requiring a battery.
Lateral Flow Assay Reader PCB
A common problem with many lateral flow assays (the test strip used in pregnancy tests for example) is that a positive test result can be difficult to see by eye if the test line is faint. For an EPFL spinoff, we developed an electronic readout system that works without needing a battery.
We developed an accompanying phone app that allows the user to read and power the sensor via NFC. The results are displayed to the user and also uploaded to a database in the cloud.
