Join fellow production managers, quality control experts, and technical professionals from the confectionery industry especially those working with mogul lines or starchless systems to explore how AI can elevate production efficiency and product quality.
See how cameras detect product properties, how AI connects with your production data, and how these technologies can help solve your facility’s specific challenges.
The workshop is on the 6th of February in Technopark Zürich, signup link: https://forms.gle/idzBdPQbqxnap2GcA
Agenda
08:15 – 09:00 Coffee and Welcome
09:00 – 09:45 Introduction to AI Technologies
Overview of computer vision and language models. Basic principles of how these systems work.
10:00 – 10:45 Map Your Production Challenges
Start at the end: What‘s your ideal production outcome? List the problems stopping you from getting there. Post each challenge on the “wall of pain”.
11:00 – 11:45 Gallery Walk & Clustering
Walk around, read other facilities‘ challenges. Discussion with machine and AI experts. Group similar challenges together. Dot voting: Which challenges are most urgent across all facilities?
11:45 – 12:45 Standing Lunch
13:00 – 13:45 Try it yourself: AI with Cameras
- Measuring gummy viscosity from camera images
- Defect detection using AI models
- Integration with off-the-shelf equipment
14:00 – 14:45 Try it yourself: AI for Data Analysis
Working with recipes, sensors, and alarms:
- Ask questions in plain language and watch AI analyze the data
- Automate routine analysis tasks
- Privacy: keeping data inside your network
15:00 – 17:00 Solve Your Challenges
Random pairing into groups of 2. Research and evaluate: Which technologies could address your mapped challenges? Prepare 3 minute presentation for other groups. Each pair presents their evaluation. What are the limitations? Moderated discussion and conclusion.
